Adani Solar did wonders in solar energy sector, included in Wood Mackenzie’s global top 10 list.

New Delhi. Adani Solar has been included in Wood Mackenzie’s ‘Global Solar Module Manufacturing List’ for the first half of 2025. Adani Solar, the solar photovoltaic manufacturing arm of Adani New Industries Limited (ANIL), has been awarded ‘Category A’ classification by the global energy and natural resources consultancy.

The company was ranked 8th in this list of Wood Mackenzie. Wood Mackenzie has released its latest report for the first half of 2025, which evaluates solar panel companies. According to the report, JA Solar and TrinaSolar jointly took the top spot with 91.7 and 91.6 points respectively. Adani Solar scored 81 points.

Wood Mackenzie evaluates manufacturers on 10 criteria, including third-party reliability testing, financial health, manufacturing records and patent activity. Being included in the ‘Category A’ classification means that the company meets the highest standards of performance and transparency.
