TMC is taking out its enmity with the people of Bengal, now the public has decided to teach the ruthless government a lesson: PM Modi

Kolkata. Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a massive rally in Singur, West Bengal. During this, he said, this crowd of Singur, this zeal and enthusiasm of all of you is telling the new story of West Bengal. Everyone has come with the same spirit and same hope that ‘we want real change.’ Everyone wants to replace the 15 year old Maha-Jungleraj. I have come to Singur today at a time when the country has celebrated 150 years of Vande Mataram. Vande Mataram has been glorified by having a special discussion in the Parliament also. The entire Parliament and the entire country paid homage to Rishi Bankimchandra Chattopadhyay ji.

He said, the relationship between Hooghly and Vande Mataram is even more special. It is said that it was here that Rishi Bankim ji gave its complete form to Vande Mataram. Just as Vande Mataram became the proclamation of independence. Similarly, we have to make Vande Mataram a mantra to develop West Bengal and India. It is the BJP government which has installed the statue of Netaji Subhash Babu on the duty path in Delhi, in front of India Gate. For the first time, the contribution of Azad Hind Fauj was saluted from the Red Fort. The island in Andaman and Nicobar was named after Netaji. Earlier the programs of 26th January used to start from 24th or 25th and ended on 30th January. We changed this program. Now we started from 23rd January i.e. the birth anniversary of Subhash Babu and decided to complete it on the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.

PM said, Bengali language and literature is very rich. But, Bengali language also got the status of classical language when you blessed me and formed the BJP government in Delhi. It is due to the efforts of the BJP government that Durga Puja has been given the status of cultural heritage in UNESCO. It is my constant endeavor to provide every possible service to the youth, farmers, mothers and sisters of Bengal. But the TMC government here… does not allow the schemes of the central government to reach you properly. TMC is taking out its enmity with the people of Bengal! TMC… is determined to have enmity with the youth here, the mothers and sisters here, the farmers here.

With this thinking in mind, the Central Government has created a digital platform to help the fishermen across the country. State governments across the country are registering the names of their fishermen on this digital platform. But, there is a brake on this work in Bengal. We repeatedly write letters to the TMC government of Bengal. But, the TMC government is not cooperating at all in the registration of the fishermen here. Due to this, the fishermen of Bengal are not able to get the benefit of the central scheme like Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana.

He said, let me give you an example of how TMC is venting its hostility towards the fishermen of Bengal. Lakhs of families in Bengal are involved in fishing. There is more potential here than the amount of fish exported from here at present, the fisherman brothers and sisters here have that strength. For this, it is important that the fisherman brothers and sisters get help and better technology.

He also said that the conscious voters of the country are now continuously punishing every government that hinders the development work. There was a similar government in Delhi state too, which did not allow the central schemes to be implemented. We kept telling them to implement the Ayushman Scheme which provides free treatment to the poor families of Delhi, but they did not listen. Therefore, the people of Delhi showed them the way out of power and now the poor are getting free treatment under Ayushman Yojana in Delhi. The people of Bengal have also decided now that they are going to teach a lesson to the ruthless TMC government. So that BJP government is formed here and Ayushman Bharat scheme is implemented in Bengal also, the poor get free treatment.
