India lost in Indore, New Zealand won the series

Indore: The last match of the three-match ODI series between India and New Zealand was held today (January 18) at Holkar Cricket Stadium, Indore. In this match, the Indian team had to face defeat by 41 runs. India had a target of 338 runs to win, but the team was all out for 296 runs in only 46 overs. With this victory, New Zealand won the ODI series 2-1. This is New Zealand’s first ODI series win on Indian soil.

New Zealand, after losing the toss and batting first, scored 337 runs for eight wickets. They had a very bad start, losing 2 wickets for the first 6 runs. Openers Henry Nicholls (0 runs) and Devon Conway (5 runs) were out early. But Daryl Mitchell and Will Young together took over the team. Mitchell completed his century in 107 balls with the help of 10 fours and 2 sixes, which was his second consecutive ODI century.
