Who are Shinde’s 29 ‘kingmakers’? Those who are imprisoned in Taj Hotel, did Uddhav’s plan fail?
BMC Mayor Name: The results of BMC elections have come out. Now politics regarding the post of Mayor has intensified. If we look at the picture so far, it is clear that the mayor should be elected from BJP only. But the suspense still remains. Meanwhile, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis says that the mayor will be selected only after talks with Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena. On the other hand, Shinde is afraid of the disintegration of his Shiv Sainiks. He has shifted 29 councilors to a five star hotel. On this, Shiv Sena UBT leader Sanjay Raut claimed that many councilors are in contact with him. No one wants BJP to become mayor. Even Eknath Shinde himself does not want BJP to become mayor. Due to this, Eknath Shinde has converted a hotel into a jail.

There was a stir in Shinde camp
This step has been taken after a statement by Uddhav Thackeray. Uddhav said after the results recently, ‘After losing control over India’s richest municipal body, it is his dream to see a Shiv Sena (UBT) mayor in Mumbai. If God wishes, it will come true. This statement of Uddhav Thackeray created a stir in the Shinde camp. After this the Shinde group made a plan to keep its councilors at one place.

Kept in hotel due to fear of horse trading
On the other hand, experts say that these 29 councilors will act as power balance in the mayor elections in BMC. The reason is that BJP has not got absolute majority in the 227-member body. The support of Shinde group is necessary here. He has been kept in a hotel due to fear of horse trading. In this way, Uddhav Thackeray group or other parties will not be able to break him. This will save them from changing sides at the last minute. If the mathematics goes wrong, it may be difficult to gain control over the municipal body. According to party leaders, this step is a precautionary step.
Shinde will guide all the councilors here
In this matter, Shiv Sena councilor Amol Ghole from BMC’s Dada Ward 178 says, “No one has been forcibly kept there. We have been called to discuss the future strategy. Shiv Sena chief Shinde will guide all the councilors here. Many of those who have been kept here have become councilors for the first time. A two-day camp has been organized here. We will give them information about how they have to work. How they have to meet the officials. And what matters have to be raised.”
there is no such demand
On the news of Shiv Sena’s demand for the post of BMC mayor, Amol Ghole gave a statement, “There is no such demand. No one has made any such demand. There will be a mayor of Mahayuti. The leadership of both the parties will take a decision on this &ZeroWidthSpace. This will be a joint decision of BJP and Shiv Sena.” Experts say, “Shinde faction cannot place any such demand in front of BJP. Anyway, Uddhav faction of Shiv Sena has got more seats. In such a situation, it is clear that Shinde faction is not going to get anything by separating from BJP, nor will it put any kind of condition.”
