Statement about Suryakumar Yadav backfires, Khushi Mukherjee faces ₹100 crore defamation lawsuit

Social media influencer Faizan Ansari has filed a ₹100 crore defamation lawsuit against actress Khushi Mukherjee. The case was filed on January 13th, following a statement made by Khushi Mukherjee regarding Indian T20 team captain Suryakumar Yadav. In an interview, the actress claimed that Suryakumar Yadav frequently messaged her. This statement sparked a major controversy.

Faizan’s allegations against Khushi

Mumbai resident Faizan Ansari filed a complaint at the Ghazipur police station. He alleged that Khushi Mukherjee’s statements are completely false and have not only damaged Suryakumar Yadav’s image but also questioned the reputation of a national-level player. Faizan traveled from Mumbai to Ghazipur to file the FIR and clearly stated that he will fight this case to the end.

Faizan Ansari claims that the actress deliberately made these statements for publicity. He called it a conspiracy and demanded that a case be registered against Khushi Mukherjee under strict sections of the law, and that she should receive a minimum of seven years imprisonment. Speaking to the media, Faizan said that he has millions of followers on social media and his videos are watched by crores of people, so it is his responsibility to raise this issue on every platform. He also said that he will remain in Ghazipur until he gets justice.

Why a ₹100 crore defamation claim?

Faizan also clarified that the ₹100 crore defamation claim was made to send a strong message to those who make such allegations. He stated that his team has previously taken legal action in similar cases and his legal team is very strong. However, he also said that if Khushi Mukherjee proves her allegations, he will publicly accept his mistake.

Meanwhile, Khushi Mukherjee clarified her position after the controversy escalated. In an interview, she said that she never had a romantic relationship with Suryakumar Yadav. According to her, her statement was misrepresented and exaggerated. She also claimed that her Instagram account had been hacked, which led to the confusion.

Khushi further stated that her interaction with Suryakumar was purely friendly and that they are no longer in contact. She also wished the Indian team and Suryakumar Yadav the best of luck for the upcoming World Cup. The entire controversy began when she made a statement about dating cricketers during an event, which quickly went viral on social media and later escalated into a legal dispute.
