BJP intensified its attack on Aam Aadmi Party leader Atishi over the issue of the alleged insult to Guru Tegh Bahadur.
New Delhi. BJP has intensified its attack against Aam Aadmi Party MLA Atishi in Delhi Assembly. BJP alleges that Atishi insulted Sikh Guru Teg Bahadur in the Delhi Assembly. On this issue, Manjinder Singh Sirsa, minister in Delhi’s Rekha Gupta government, has also raised questions on Punjab Police. At the same time, Aam Aadmi Party is saying that Atishi did not insult Guru Teg Bahadur. The party says that the video of Atishi released by BJP has been tampered with.

On the issue of alleged insult to Sikh Guru Teg Bahadur, Delhi Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa said that Atishi is in hiding after making derogatory statements about Guru Teg Bahadur in the Assembly. He said that the sin committed by Atishi is unpardonable. Sirsa said that Atishi made a big mistake and now the Aam Aadmi Party and the Punjab government have come out in his favor. Delhi government minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa said that the report presented by the Punjab Police of the Central Forensic Science Lab cannot be trusted. He quoted a senior constable of Punjab Police as saying that they checked the video with Google Gemini AI tool.

There is an old enmity between BJP and Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi. Recently there was discussion in Delhi Assembly. Aam Aadmi Party leader Atishi is accused of saying derogatory words about Guru Teg Bahadur during that discussion. Its video was shared by Delhi Minister Kapil Mishra and some others. Against whom Punjab Police also registered a case. Punjab Police sent Atishi’s video to the forensic lab and then told the court that the video was tampered. Now BJP has intensified its attack against Atishi. Due to this, the politics of BJP vs Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi seems to be heating up.
