Nodia Engineer Death: After the post-mortem report came out in the case of the tragic death of 27-year-old engineer Yuvraj Mehta in Noida, many important questions have arisen. According to the report, Yuvraj died due to asphyxiation. Along with this, heart failure has also been recorded in the post-mortem. After this revelation, the anger and pain of the family members has become deeper.
How the accident happened, under construction mall became the cause of death
This accident happened when Yuvraj Mehta was returning home from his office in Gurugram to Noida. There was dense fog at night and there was neither adequate lighting nor any kind of warning boards installed on the road. Due to this carelessness, his car fell into the open basement of an under-construction mall, which was filled with a huge amount of water.
Police investigation has revealed that this basement was open without any security arrangements, due to which this accident occurred. Police have registered an FIR against two real estate developers in the case.
Made last call to father while sitting on rooftop
Yuvraj did not give up after the accident. He somehow climbed onto the roof of his car and called his father from there. He pleaded for help and said, ‘Papa, please save me.’
The father immediately informed the police. The fire department team also reached the spot, but by then it was too late. Yuvraj kept shouting for help by lighting a flash light, but darkness, fog and administrative delay could not save his life.
Post mortem report increased the seriousness of negligence
According to the post mortem report, Yuvraj died due to suffocation due to drowning in water. The report also said that heart failure occurred due to excessive stress and lack of oxygen. This clearly indicates that if rescue had taken place on time, Yuvraj’s life could have been saved.
Family broken due to death of only son
Yuvraj was the only son of his family. Father, uncle and grandmother are in bad condition, crying. With folded hands, the father is appealing to the administration to take strict action against such negligence, so that no other family has to suffer such pain in future.
The family says that Yuvraj was a responsible and calm young man, who never drove at high speed. This is not an accident, but a death due to negligence of the system.
Questions raised on administration
This incident has once again raised serious questions on urban development, safety of construction sites and emergency response systems. Now it has to be seen how strict action is taken against the culprits after the investigation and whether Yuvraj gets justice.
