Man City signs Crystal Palace defender Guehi
Manchester City on Monday has announced the signing of Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi as it battles a defensive crisis.
The club took to social media to confirm the signing with the defender putting pen to paper until June 2031.
The England defender, 25, was close to joining Liverpool on transfer deadline day in September, 2025 before the move collapsed.

Guehi captained Palace to FA Cup success in May against City and has won 26 England caps.
City boss Pep Guardiola, whose team is second in the Premier League, seven points behind Arsenal, said the team was desperately short of defensive options.
“Without John (Stones), without Ruben (Dias), without Josko (Gvardiol), we are in a difficult situation for not one game but a long, long period,” he said before the arrival of Guehi was announced.
“It’s a difficult situation. Ruben will be back soon. Josko, no. John, hopefully we’ll see.”
