Big blow to Kuldeep Singh Sengar from Delhi High Court, bail plea rejected in the case of death of victim’s father.
New Delhi. Kuldeep Singh Sengar, the main accused in the Unnao rape case, has received a big blow from the Delhi High Court. Delhi High Court has rejected the bail plea of Kuldeep Singh Sengar in the case of custodial death of Unnao rape victim’s father. Due to the punishment in this case, Kuldeep Singh Sengar could not come out of jail.

Kuldeep Singh Sengar was sentenced to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment by the trial court in this case in 2019. At the same time, Kuldeep Singh Sengar had filed a petition in the High Court demanding suspension of this sentence. It was argued on behalf of Sengar that he has been in jail for a long time. His health is continuously deteriorating. Along with this, the petition also mentioned diseases like diabetes, cataract and retina detachment and demanded that he be treated outside Tihar Jail at Delhi AIIMS.
