Punjab : Addressing a public meeting in Ajnala, Bhagwant Singh Mann said that Punjab was looted for decades. He alleged that Congress, Akali Dal and BJP together had hollowed out the state. Institutions were weakened. The youth did not get employment. The situation became such that the children had to go abroad. The Chief Minister said that the public has now understood all this. Therefore, politics of change has become necessary.
Will education change the future of Punjab?
The Chief Minister said that education is the strongest way to uplift Punjab. The government is opening schools and colleges. New institutions will become the foundation of employment. The youth will get a chance to study near their homes. This will stop migration. Education will increase self-confidence. This is the real beginning of Rangla Punjab.
Why was college considered a special step in Ajnala?
Ajnala is an area adjacent to the international border. There was a lack of higher education here for a long time. Degree college will be built with Rs 15 crore. This college will be built on 15 acres. Border youth will get direct benefit. 50 nearby villages will be connected to it. This decision is being considered an example of regional balance.
Why a college in the name of Baba Gamchuk?
The Chief Minister announced that the college will be named after Baba Gamchuk Ji Maharaj. This is being seen as a tribute. This will increase emotional bonding among the local people. Education will get social respect. The new generation will connect with its roots. This will not just be a building but will become an identity. The government is taking this thinking forward.
Will the government and the public together create Rangla Punjab?
The Chief Minister said that the government will provide every facility. But public participation is also necessary. Every Punjabi will have to contribute as per his capacity. Government alone cannot achieve development. Change comes from collective responsibility. Only then children will not have to go abroad. This is the dream of Rangla Punjab.
Why did Mann’s attack on the opposition become sharp?
The Chief Minister said that the opposition has no agenda. They are only waiting for their turn to power. Internal strife is their weakness. He has nothing to do with public issues. Politics of loot has been their history. There is a need to be cautious of such leaders. Punjab will no longer be deceived.
What will college change for young men and girls?
Arts, Science, Commerce and Computer Science will be taught in the college. There will also be artificial intelligence and digital education. This will provide modern skills. Girls will get a chance to study near home. More than 2000 students are expected to enroll. Children of the village who donate land will get free education. The Chief Minister called it an investment in the future.
