Crispy Chicken Strips Ingredientd

  • Boneless chicken – 500 grams (cut into long thin strips)
  • Salt – as per taste
  • Black pepper powder – 1 tsp
  • Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
  • Garlic paste/garlic powder – 1 tsp
  • Soya sauce – 1 tsp
  • Vinegar or lemon juice – 1 teaspoon
  • Egg – 1

For coating

  • Refined flour – 1 cup
  • Cornflour – 2 tablespoons
  • Baking powder – ½ tsp
  • Salt – as per taste
  • Black pepper – 1/2 tsp
  • Chili flakes – 1/2 tsp
  • Mixed herbs / oregano – 1/2 tsp

For frying

  • Refined oil – as required

To serve

  • Tomato Ketchup
  • Mayonnaise
  • Chilli Sauce / Honey Mustard Sauce

विधि – How to Make

To make these tasty chicken strips, first take 500 grams of boneless chicken and cut it into long, thin strips. Wash the chicken thoroughly and drain the water to remove any moisture.

Now to marinate the chicken, put it in a big bowl and add salt as per taste, 1 teaspoon black pepper powder, 1 teaspoon red chili powder, 1 teaspoon garlic powder or finely ground garlic, 1 teaspoon soy sauce, 1 teaspoon vinegar or lemon juice and 1 egg.

Mix all these things well and leave the chicken to marinate for at least 30 minutes so that the taste of the spices penetrates deep inside.

Now, for the coating, combine 1 cup flour, 2 tablespoons cornflour, 1/2 teaspoon baking powder, a little salt, and pepper in a separate bowl. If desired, you can also add some chili flakes and mixed herbs, which will enhance the flavor of the strips.

Coat the marinated chicken strips thoroughly in the dry mixture, ensuring a thick, even coating on each strip. For a crispier finish, you can roll the chicken strips again in the flour mixture with slightly damp hands. This will further crunch the coating.

Now, pour enough oil into a deep pan and heat it over medium heat. The oil should not be too hot, otherwise the chicken will brown quickly on the outside and remain raw on the inside. When the oil is medium hot, slowly add the chicken strips and fry them over medium heat. Keep turning the strips occasionally so that they become evenly golden and crispy on all sides. In about 6-8 minutes, the chicken strips will be cooked thoroughly and turn golden brown. When they look completely crispy, remove them and place them on a tissue paper to drain off any excess oil.

You can serve these hot, crispy chicken strips with tomato ketchup, mayonnaise, chili sauce, or honey mustard sauce. They can also be used in burgers, wraps, or sandwiches.
