Questions were raised after some obscene videos of him with a woman went viral on social media. The incident caused an uproar on social media and on the ground, from Karnataka to Delhi.
Seeing the pressure from social groups and opposition parties, the Karnataka government took major action and suspended DGP Ramachandra Rao. However, the DGP has denied all the allegations against him. He has alleged that he is being falsely implicated.

Who did the DGP go to meet after the video scandal?
After the objectionable video went viral on social media, Ramachandra went to meet Karnataka Home Minister Parameshwara Lal. However, the meeting did not take place. While speaking to the media outside the Home Minister’s residence, Ramachandra said, “This is completely fabricated, and this video is completely fake.
