Now this road will become four lane in UP, good news for 3 districts
News Desk. A big and relief news has come out for Purvanchal region of Uttar Pradesh. People who have been troubled by jams, accidents and slow speed for a long time are now hopeful of getting better road facilities soon. The proposal to develop about 34 km long stretch of National Highway-727B from Sikandarpur to Ballia with four lanes, paved shoulders has been approved by the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.
This route was becoming a cause of trouble for thousands of passengers every day. Narrow roads, increasing traffic and the route passing through markets often invited jams and accidents. Now with the construction of four lanes, not only will the road be widened, but the traffic will also become more smooth and safe.
Preparation of survey and DPR will start
After getting in-principle approval from the Ministry, now a survey will be conducted for this project and DPR (Detailed Project Report) will be prepared. After this the construction process will proceed. Although it may take some time for work to begin, it is considered a solid start.
Three districts will benefit directly
With the four-laning of this road, connectivity between Gorakhpur, Deoria and Ballia districts will be further strengthened. Currently, it takes one and a half to two hours to cover the distance of 34 kilometers, but after the construction of the new road, this time will reduce significantly. This will have a positive impact on business, education, health and everyday transportation.
Villages will get relief from bypass
Consideration is also being given to building three bypasses to save the villages and markets located on the Sikandarpur-Ballia road from traffic pressure. Construction of bypass in areas like Khejuri, Khadsara and Sukhpura will reduce the pressure of heavy vehicles and accidents will reduce. However, their final location and number will be decided only after the survey.
Future plans also ready
After Sikandarpur-Ballia, the demand for building a four-lane road from Sikandarpur to Manjhi is also increasing. If this plan also comes true then the connectivity of areas like Maniyar, Bansdih, Revati, Sahatwar and Bairia will further improve. This four-lane road is not just a construction project but a new path for the development of the area. Now people are hopeful that work on the ground will start soon and they will get permanent relief from the problems that have been going on for years.
