Aamir Khan on Mahabharata: Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has been in the news for a long time about his dream project ‘Mahabharata’. Aamir wants to make a film on this epic, but he says that he wants to work for it with full preparation and seriousness. In a recent interview, Aamir made it clear that he does not want to do any kind of incomplete or weak work on this subject.

In fact, during a recent conversation with News18, Aamir Khan said that Mahabharata is very important for Indians. He said,
“This is my dream. I don’t know when and how this dream will come true, but I want to make this film. However, it is a huge responsibility because every Indian is deeply connected to the Mahabharata. It is in our blood. I don’t think there is any Indian who has not read or heard about the Bhagavad Gita, at least from his grandmothers.”

‘Every Indian should feel proud’

Aamir further said that it is not easy to make a film on such an important subject. He said, “I often say that you can disappoint Mahabharata, but Mahabharata will never disappoint you. If you do a bad job on it, you will spoil it. If I ever make this film, I want every Indian to feel proud of it.”

‘Mahabharata is the mother of all Hollywood fantasies’

Aamir Khan also compared Mahabharata with big fantasy films of Hollywood. He said, “We have seen many big Hollywood entertainers over the years, like Avatar. But Mahabharata is the mother of them all. The world should know it and we Indians should be proud of it. That’s why I am taking the time to make this project the right way.”

If we talk about work front, Aamir Khan was last seen in the film ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’, which got good response from the audience and the film proved to be a hit.
