Weather Forecast for These Areas

In Lucknow, the state capital, the fog has been less prevalent for the past two days. The sunshine has provided some relief from the cold. The maximum temperature has increased, allowing children and the elderly to venture out of their homes.

The minimum temperature in Lucknow is expected to be 9 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is 25 degrees Celsius. This is considered 5.4 degrees higher than normal. Noida and Ghaziabad in the Delhi-NCR region are also expected to have sunny weather today.

Weather Expected to Deteriorate Again

A change in weather is expected in Uttar Pradesh from Thursday. Due to the Western Disturbance, increased cloud cover and rainfall are likely. The IMD predicts light drizzle in several districts of Western UP, including Noida and Ghaziabad, on January 22nd. Following this, the cold weather is expected to intensify.

The most significant impact is expected on January 23rd. For most districts, a warning of moderate to heavy rainfall with thunderstorms has been issued. Strong winds are also expected, with speeds of 30-40 km per hour. Hail is also possible in some places. The rainfall could affect the Rabi crops of the farmers.
