New Delhi: If you have completed your law studies and dream of working in the biggest court of the country, then this is a golden opportunity for you. Supreme Court of India has invited applications for the posts of Law Clerk-cum-Research Associate. This recruitment is for the session 2026-2027 and will be completely on contract basis.

How many posts and what salary?

About 90 posts will be filled through this recruitment. Selected candidates will initially get a fixed salary of Rs 1,00,000 per month. This salary is for the assignment period 2026-2027. Note that this job is not regular, but based on short-term contract. If selected, you will get the work of research, case study and legal assistance with judges. Who can apply?

For this recruitment, the candidate should have Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree from a recognized institute, which also includes integrated course. It is necessary to be recognized by the Bar Council of India. Age should be between 20 to 32 years as on 7 February 2026. Final year students can also apply, but must have completed the degree before assignments begin.
