Delhi High Court sent notice to Salman Khan, Chinese firm challenged the interim order

Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is a very famous personality. Seeing the misuse of his personality, the actor had approached the Delhi High Court, in which an interim order was given on December 11, 2025. But the Chinese company did not like this order and they have again challenged this interim order by filing a petition. Because of this, Salman Khan has been put on notice.

The issue of personality rights and AI technology
This entire matter is related to personality rights and AI technology. Some time ago a Chinese based Artificial Intelligence voice generation company used the actor’s voice. This voice was misused in many places. Like fake advertisements, fake videos, misleading content started being created.

    Seeing his voice being misused, Salman Khan approached Delhi High Court for the protection of his personality and publicity rights. After this, an order was issued in his favor on 11 December 2025. This order has been challenged again by this Chinese company by filing a petition.

    Chinese AI company’s side
    The Chinese AI company says that creating a synthetic voice of any person comes within the legal and commercial business. Their services are being affected due to the order given in December. Because of this they are not able to develop their models properly. With this argument he has challenged the order.
