Jemimah Rodrigues signed by Southern Brave for Women’s Hundred 2026 season
India’s star batter Jemimah Rodrigues was signed by Southern Brave for the upcoming season of the Women’s Hundred competition.
Rodrigues has played 18 matches for Northern Superchargers across three editions of The Hundred, between 2021 and 2023, and scored 453 runs at a strike rate of 137.68.
The 25-year-old is among six Indians to have featured in the tournament so far. The list includes India captain Harmanpreet Kaur, stylish opening batter Smriti Mandhana, star all-rounder Deepti Sharma, swashbuckling opener Shafali Verma, and aggressive wicketkeeper-batter Richa Ghosh.
Earlier this month, Manchester Super Giants had signed Smriti for the upcoming season of The Hundred.
The Southern Brave franchise clinched the Women’s Hundred title in 2023 and reached the final last year, losing to Superchargers in the summit clash. The Brave squad includes South Africa skipper Laura Wolvaardt and English pacer Lauren Bell.
