Satish Ninasam plays the lead role and is also involved in the film as a lyricist, singer, and producer. Saptami Gowda is the female lead. Set in the 1970s, The Rise of Ashoka follows a young man’s life and the challenges he faces, along with the social issues of that time.
After the passing of director Vinod V Dhondale, Manu Shedgar completed the film. The project is produced under the Vridhi Creation and Satish Picture House banners by Satish Ninasam, Vardhan Hari, and Jaishnavi. The cast also features B Suresh, Sampath Maitreya, Gopalakrishna Deshpande, and Yash Shetty. The story is by Dayanand T K, with cinematography by Lavith.
