While chasing the target, Kiwi players scored 190 runs after losing seven wickets.

Abhishek Sharma played a stormy innings

The Indian cricket team had scored 238 runs for 7 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. This is India’s biggest score against New Zealand in T-20 International. Earlier, India had set a target of 234 runs for New Zealand in February 2023. Abhishek Sharma batted brilliantly in this match. He scored 84 runs in 35 balls. Batsman Abhishek hit five fours and sixes in the innings. Captain Surya Kumar Yadav scored 32 runs in 22 balls. Rinku played an inning of 44 runs in 20 balls and took the team to a big score.

The Indian team, which came to bat first after losing the toss, did not have a good start. Ishan Kishan scored 8 runs in 5 balls. Sanju Samson’s bat also could not do wonders. Shivam Dubey scored 9, Akshar Patel scored 5 runs. At the same time, Hardik Pandya scored only 25 runs in 16 balls.

Daryl Mitchell scored 28 runs in 18 balls and captain Mitchell Santner scored 20 runs in 13 balls. Bowlers Varun Chakraborty and Shivam Dubey took two wickets each. Whereas Hardik Pandya, Arshdeep Singh and Akshar Patel took one wicket each.
