Verna Facelift

Hyundai is likely to launch 2026 with the 6th generation Verna facelift model. The current Verna was launched in March 2023. According to the company’s three-year product lifecycle, its updated version could be introduced in April 2026.

The front design of the new Verna will be inspired by the latest Hyundai Sonata, making the car look sharper and sportier. It will offer a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. Engine options are likely to be kept the same as at present.

Hyundai Exter Facelift

The Hyundai Exter Facelift is likely to be launched in the second quarter of 2026. The new Exter gets a 12.9-inch touchscreen system and a 9.9-inch digital driver display. Along with this, it is likely to get a new front bumper, updated headlamps, taillamps and new 15-inch alloy wheels. However, no major changes are expected in the engine and transmission.

Hyundai may launch its electric car Ioniq 5 Facelift in India in June or July 2026. The electric vehicle is likely to get new design elements including rear wiper, digital key 2, new steering wheel and two large 12.3-inch displays. More importantly, this EV can be equipped with a large 84kWh battery, which will significantly increase the driving range.

An SUV above the Venue

Hyundai may launch an all-new SUV called the Bayon in India around the festive season. The SUV will be larger than 4 meters and will be positioned in the segment above the Venue. The car is likely to be based on the fourth-generation i20 platform, and may be powered by a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine.
