After a period of severe cold followed by an increase in daytime temperatures, the monsoon is approaching. Widespread rain is likely in East Uttar Pradesh on January 23. After a reduction in rainfall on 24th January, the weather is expected to dry up on 25th January.

During January 22 to 24, the minimum temperature is likely to increase by 2-4 degrees Celsius immediately and a similar increase in the next 48 hours. Under the influence of the next Western Disturbance, the next phase of rain will begin over West Uttar Pradesh on January 26, reach East Uttar Pradesh by January 27 and gradually increase for the next one or two days, the Meteorological Department has also predicted.
Chance of cold wave
According to the Meteorological Department, due to these weather conditions, wind speed of 30-50 kmph is expected in some districts of the state on January 23. Hailstorm is also likely in some parts of West Uttar Pradesh. Due to this, orange alert has been issued for some districts of the state.
Heavy rain warning for 9 states of the country
The Meteorological Department has once again issued an alarming warning for those hoping for a reprieve from the bitter cold. According to the latest IMD forecast, heavy rains and storms are likely to occur in nine states between January 22 and 25. Wind speeds may reach 40 to 50 kilometers per hour, leading to another major drop in temperature.
