Jalaun. My mother has died and father has left me…but sir, I want to study and become an officer. Hearing these words of 8 year old innocent Radhika, everyone from DM to SP present on the stage became emotional. At the same time, the eyes of the officers, employees and villagers present on the stage became moist. Actually, this scene is of a Jan Chaupal organized in Gram Panchayat Kanjhari of Rampura development block of Jalaun.

Meanwhile, after listening to innocent Radhika, Jalaun DM Rajesh Kumar Pandey and Superintendent of Police (SP) Dr. Durgesh Kumar made her sit near them and talked to her. During this, DM Rajesh Kumar Pandey publicly announced that the district administration will itself take responsibility for the entire education and necessary expenses of Radhika. He said that it is now the collective responsibility of the administration to fulfill Radhika’s dream.

Along with this, DM Rajesh Pandey directed that Radhika should be immediately provided the benefits of all related government schemes including Child Service Scheme, Kanya Sumangala Scheme, so that there is no financial hindrance in her future. At the same time, after this emotional moment, DM and SP toured the village on foot and met people and heard their problems. Along with this, verification of schemes like housing, pension, ration card, Ayushman Bharat, Ujjwala Yojana and Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was done at the ground level.

During this period, wherever the DM found shortcomings, he gave instructions for immediate improvement. During inspection it was revealed that there is no field for children to play in the village. On this, the DM gave strict instructions and ordered to complete the construction of the playground by March 31, 2026.
