Scotland will have ‘wild card’ entry
After the official withdrawal of Bangladesh, ICC has started preparations to implement its ‘Plan-B’. On the basis of T20 ranking, Scotland will be included in Group C in place of Bangladesh. Now Scotland team will face West Indies, England, Nepal and Italy in Group C. Scotland will now have very little time to prepare, as the tournament starts on 7 February.
bangladesh cricket gaz will fall on the board
After this boycott, the future path is going to be very difficult for Bangladesh Cricket Board. ICC can impose a huge fine of millions of dollars on BCB. Bangladesh may also be banned from participating in future ICC events for causing harm to cricket. Apart from this, staying out of any international event also has a negative impact on the team players.
