UPW vs GG WPL 2026: The 14th match of the Women’s Premier League 2026 is being played between UP Warriors and Gujarat Giants at the BCA Stadium in Vadodara. In this match, UP captain Meg Lanning and Gujarat captain Ashley Gardner came for the toss. During this, UP won the toss and decided to bowl first and invited Gujarat to bat first. Gujarat has made 1 change in its playing-11 for this match.

What did both captains say on the toss?

UP Warriors captain Meg Lanning said after winning the toss, ‘We are going to bowl. It would be good if we can put some pressure on Gujarat in the beginning itself. Dew is already falling. It is very important to see the condition. Maybe there is not as much bounce here as in Navi Mumbai. For us, it is the same team which played in the last match.

Gujarat Giants captain Ashley Gardner said, ‘We also wanted to bowl. Hopefully we will create an atmosphere here soon. It is a good thing that we can create an atmosphere quickly with batting. Danny Wyatt has come into the team for us in place of Georgia Wareham.
