A bicycle was found in the drain of Pratap Auditorium in Alwar. People suspect that someone may have fallen along with the bicycle. At present no one has been confirmed to be there. The police have started investigation after receiving the complaint.
Rajasthan: A bicycle was found in the drain in front of Pratap Auditorium in Alwar city. This is the same drain where the body of a young man was found about a month ago. While roaming in the morning, Mahesh Singh, resident of Sonawa Dungri, saw a bicycle in the drain.
Mahesh told that after seeing the bicycle lying in the drain, it seemed that someone might have fallen along with the bicycle. He immediately pulled the bicycle out of the drain and informed the police.

Mahesh said that no person or child was seen inside the drain. Only the bicycle was found lying there. Locals are worried that the drain is not safe and someone, including a cyclist, could fall in.
At the same time, people said that the administration did not make any security arrangements on the drain. There is neither any arrangement to cover the drain nor any kind of warning.
Police filed complaint
After the information about the bicycle being found in the drain, a complaint was given to Aravali Vihar police station. Police said that the matter is being investigated and people nearby will be questioned. Police are trying to find out when and how the bicycle fell into the drain. Local people are demanding from the administration that security arrangements should be made by covering the drain. This will reduce the chances of someone falling and having an accident in the future.
