Bhojpuri singer Neha Singh Rathore again stuck in legal trouble
Neha Singh Rathore Case:Bhojpuri folk singer Neha Singh Rathore is once again in the news for her statements. Uttar Pradesh Police has intensified action against Prime Minister Narendra Modi in connection with his alleged objectionable remarks. This case was registered in the year 2025, in which now a new update has come out.
Varanasi police sent legal notice
Lanka police station in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh has issued a legal notice to Neha Singh Rathore. According to police station in-charge Rajkumar Sharma, this notice has been sent as part of the process of filing the charge sheet. Police say that this is not a new action, but is part of the further legal process in an already registered case.
Police claim: Action is being taken within the ambit of law
Police officials have made it clear that the action being taken against Neha Singh Rathore is completely in accordance with the law. No additional strictness or special steps have been taken in this. Police say that further action in the case will also be taken as per legal procedure.
Neha Singh Rathore’s counterattack on social media
After this notice, Neha Singh Rathore expressed her displeasure on social media platform X. He claimed that after receiving summons from Hazratganj police station in Lucknow, Lanka Police of Varanasi also reached his house. He wrote that he is being continuously harassed and this attitude is shameful.
“I am being harassed” – Neha’s allegation
Neha Singh Rathore wrote in her post that with the speed and hard work with which she is being harassed, I wish the victims in other cases would get justice at the same speed. His statement is becoming increasingly viral on social media and people are giving their opinions on it.

Investigation into a separate case continues in Lucknow also
Not just Varanasi, Neha Singh Rathore is also facing investigation by Lucknow Police in another case. This case is related to a social media post regarding Pahalgam terrorist attack in 2025. 26 tourists were killed in this attack in Jammu and Kashmir. Neha had challenged the FIR registered in this case in the court, after which the Supreme Court gave her interim relief from arrest on January 7.
