Federer’s swing elegance leaves Alcaraz in awe at 2026 Australian Open
Roger Federer, the 20-time Grand Slam champion, left Alcaraz in awe with his everlasting aura beyond the tennis court.
Alcaraz hit the golf course at the 2026 Australian Open, where he was eclipsed by the Swiss Maestro’s effortless golf swing.
During an interview, the 22-year-old admitted that the swing was “as beautiful as his tennis! I’m not surprised. It’s unbelievable. Everything he does, he does in style, really beautiful. On the golf course, it’s a really beautiful swing.”
Federer was present in Melbourne for an exhibition tour where he spellbound the crowd. Alcaraz expressed a genuine admiration for the tennis icon, noting that his effortless style translated perfectly from the baseline to the fairways.

“I think he’s been playing for two years now, and his level is really, really good for two years.”
The surprise came after Alcaraz clinched a straight victory against Yannick Hanfmann. He is aiming to become the youngest player to complete a Career Grand Slam.
After winning Roland Garros, Wimbledon, and the US Open, the Australian Open is the only trophy left in his cabinet.
After winning eight titles, he remained the World No.1 at the end of 2025, cementing his status alongside the “Big Three” (Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic).
