The Dutch international had only made the move to Napoli from PSV Eindhoven in July for €25m plus bonuses, but he failed to impress coach Antonio Conte or earn a regular place in the team, even during an injury crisis.
With just one goal and two assists in 27 competitive games, only nine of which were in the starting XI, he was released to join Galatasaray.
It is widely reported to be a loan deal with an option to buy at the end of the season for €30m.

He landed in Istanbul this evening and was greeted at the airport by a crowd of supporters, who he inspired in their chants.
“I’m very happy to be here,” Lang told reporters.
“The thing that impressed me the most was the size of the club.”
Noa Lang made Galatasaray fans suffer three times.
