Will there be changes in Team India’s playing-11 even after victory? Who will be out in the second T20, this player will get a chance
India Probable Playing 11: India had registered a spectacular victory in the first T20 match against New Zealand in Nagpur. Now today (January 23), the series convoy will reach Raipur, where the second T20 match will be played between the two teams at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium. Team India, captained by Suryakumar Yadav, will enter the field with the intention of maintaining the winning streak and taking a 2-0 lead in the series.
Despite winning the first match, some changes may be seen in the playing-11 of Team India in this match. This change could be due to all-rounder Akshar Patel, who got injured while bowling during the Nagpur match. Although there does not seem to be a need for major changes in the team after the first match, but keeping in mind the upcoming T20 World Cup, Akshar can be rested.
Akshar Patel suffered a finger injury while trying to take a catch on his own ball, after which he had to leave the field in the middle of the over. At present, the situation regarding his fitness is not completely clear, but it is believed that he will not play in Raipur T20.
If the characters are out then who will get the chance?
The biggest question is that if Akshar Patel is out of the playing-11, then who will get the chance in his place. Captain Suryakumar Yadav and coach Gautam Gambhir can include Chinaman spinner Kuldeep Yadav in the team. In such a situation, India can field with two wrist spinners in the form of Varun Chakravarthy and Kuldeep Yadav, which is rarely seen in T20 cricket. Indian batting looked very strong in the first T20 International, so the team management can focus on giving more edge to the bowling in this match.
All eyes will be on Samson and Ishaan
In this match also, the top order of Team India is likely to remain the same as in the first match. Although Sanju Samson and Ishan Kishan were out cheaply in the first match, both the players would like to return to form by playing big innings in this match. Samson’s place is currently considered safe in the team, but it will be very important for Ishan Kishan to score runs.
Ishaan has got a chance at number-3 in place of Tilak Verma, who is out of the first three matches due to injury. Whereas Abhishek Sharma will once again enter the field with the intention of giving a fast start to Team India.
