This tragic road accident took place in Khanni Top area on Bhaderwah-Chamba interstate road in Doda district. The army vehicle was going towards a higher post. 17 soldiers were traveling in a bulletproof vehicle

At the time of the accident, it was a bulletproof military vehicle, in which a total of 17 soldiers were on board. The vehicle was completely damaged due to the collision and overturning. As soon as information about the accident was received, local people, police and army team reached the spot and relief and rescue operations were immediately started.

The injured were airlifted and sent to the hospital

The soldiers injured in the accident were given first aid at the first opportunity. After this, seeing his condition, he was taken to Udhampur Military Hospital via helicopter. According to army officials, the treatment of the injured is going on and their condition is being constantly monitored.

Bad road is being said to be the reason for the accident

According to army sources, this accident happened in Thanala area, where the condition of the road was very bad. The path was full of stones and was also slippery. It is believed that due to this the vehicle went out of control and fell into the ditch. The weather and geographical conditions in the area also remain challenging.
