Army vehicle falls into deep ditch in Doda, Jammu and Kashmir, 10 soldiers martyred, 10 injured

Desk: A horrific road accident took place in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday. Army’s Casper fell into a deep ditch in Khani Top area near Bhaderwah-Chamba, due to which 10 soldiers were martyred and 10 others were injured. This Army Casper was going through Bhaderwah Chamba Road in Doda, whose condition was already very bad. Casper has fallen into the gorge about 200 feet deep. The rescue operation to rescue the soldiers is going on and the rescue team is doing its work rapidly.

An official said that the vehicle slipped off the road due to unknown reasons. Immediately after the incident, rescue and relief teams were sent to the spot. The injured soldier has been evacuated from the accident site and taken to a nearby medical center. The army vehicle was going towards a high mountain post when the driver lost control and the vehicle skidded off the road, after which it fell into a 200-feet deep gorge.
