Various parties staged a strong demonstration at the Collectorate demanding to secure the land of Ambedkar Park and to take action against the Sadar Tehsildar.

On Thursday, workers of CPI, CPI(M), ML, Azad Samaj Party, Bhim Army, Rashtriya Pichda Morcha and Gongpa jointly took out a procession from the main road and demonstrated strongly at the District Magistrate’s office to stop the road construction being done by plotters on the land of Ambedkar Park of village Tirnahi (Pakri) with the connivance of Robertsganj Tehsildar for the purpose of personal gain. Where the speakers said that the account of Village Tirnahi (Pakri), Pargana Badhar Tehsil Robertsganj District Sonbhadra, Aaraji Number- 40, Area 0.1260 Ha, Land Category- 6(2) is registered in the name of Ambedkar Park.

Next to the said land, Araji No. 90 is situated on the back side, on which platting has been done by some unknown plotters, to reach the plot, a road has been made from the front of Araji No. 40, but Araji No. 40, area 0.1260 hectare has been allotted by the said plotters, which is the land registered in Category-8 (2) Ambedkar Park account. They are trying to construct an illegal road to take it directly to the plot. Earlier, some plotters had put soil etc. on some parts, on which the work was stopped due to protest by the villagers, but in connivance with the concerned officials of Sadar Tehsil, the plotters are again constructing an illegal road.

On the opposition of the villagers and political parties, the Sadar Tehsildar is threatening that…let’s see who will stop this road, we will stand up and get this road built. Due to this behavior of Tehsildar, there is an atmosphere of tension in the village. A written letter has been given to the District Magistrate regarding this issue last week on 14.01.2026, but till now no action has been taken, due to which the morale of the said plotters (property dealers) of Tirnahi is getting boosted, an atmosphere of unrest can arise in the village at any time. In order to maintain peace in Tirnahi, there should be no tension of any kind and Ambedkar Park should remain safe, we people of various political parties express our demand for immediate positive action on the following points.

1- Araji No. 40 of Village Tirnahi Pargana Badhar Tehsil Robertsganj District Sonbhadra, area 0.1260 hectares of land which is registered in Khata Khatauni in the name of Ambedkar Park. It should be beautified and protected by encircling it. 2- Necessary legal action should be taken after investigation against Sadar Tehsildar Robertsganj Sonbhadra and the said plotters. 3- All Ambedkar parks, lands and places and statues of great men in Sonbhadra should be protected. The leaders said that if action is not taken by the district administration within the appropriate time, then we people of all parties are ready to take to the streets and carry out a large-scale agitation, the responsibility of which will be on the government administration.

Prominent in the program were CPI District Secretary Comrade RK Sharma, CPI(M) District Secretary Comrade Nand Lal Arya, MLA leader Comrade Nohar Bharti, Ravi Shankar (Advocate) of Azad Samaj Party, Lakshmi Narayan Boudh of Rashtriya Pichda Morcha, Jai Mangal Ureti of Gongpa, Ram Raksha, Prem Chand Gupta, Hriday Narayan, Babulal Chero, Babulal Bharti, Purushottam, Hanuman Prasad, Bacha Lal, Arun. Hundreds of workers of the above parties were present along with Kumar, Surendra Kumar, Anurag Rao, Doodhnath Yadav, Chandrashekhar, Kamlesh etc. The program was presided over by senior Communist Party leader Comrade Prem Nath and coordinated by Azad Samaj Party District President Ravi Kant.
