In a recently released information, the bank said that some hackers are creating fake websites using the name and logo of SBI Bank. Through these websites, fraudsters steal customers’ banking information and sensitive data. The bank has clarified that these websites look as genuine as the official website of SBI, but in reality they have no connection with the bank.

SBI has warned that if any site asks the user for banking information, login credentials or OTP, then it may be a fake website. Using these sites, fraudsters steal all your data. • If you have accidentally touched an unknown or fake link, change your mPIN immediately.
• Immediately inform your bank about this.
• If there is any doubt about your transaction, call the bank’s helpline number or visit the nearest branch.
• If the matter is serious, immediately file a complaint on the cyber crime portal.
