Tata Nexon electric SUV update: Tata Motors has updated the Tata Nexon electric SUV with two new dual-tone colors – Pure Gray and Ocean Blue. The Nexon EV is available with two battery options 30 kWh and 45 kWh, although the new color options are only available for the variant with the larger 45 kWh battery. Interested customers can book the EV online or by visiting their nearest dealership. Deliveries are expected to begin soon.

Battery and range
Nexon.ev 45 has a 46.08 kWh battery. The company claims that it offers a MIDC (Part 1 + Part 2) range of 489 km, with 144 bhp of power and 215 Nm of torque. This SUV accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in 8.9 seconds. The 38 kilowatt-hour version has an ARAI-certified range of 325 km, while the 45 kilowatt-hour version has a range of 489 km on a full charge.

It is charged through a 7.2 kW AC home wall charger, which takes 6 hours 36 minutes to charge from 10 to 100 percent. The 60 kW DC fast charger charges 10 to 80 percent in 40 minutes. It also supports vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and vehicle-to-load (V2L) features.

Talking about the features, Nexon EV has a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system which includes connected car technology, Android Auto / Apple CarPlay, auto climate control, 360-degree camera, wireless charger, ventilated front seats, air purifier, fast charging Type-C port, single-pane sunroof, JBL branded sound system, voice command, OTA update, Arcade.EV app suite, Includes Level 2 ADAS and much more.
