In the case of banned cough syrup containing codeine in Uttar Pradesh, Sonbhadra Police on Friday started the process of confiscating property worth crores of the main accused Bhola Prasad Jaiswal in Mahmoorganj located in Bhelupur police station area of ​​Varanasi. Illegal assets worth a total of Rs 28 crore 50 lakh of Bhola Prasad Jaiswal are being seized today by Sonbhadra Police in Bhelupur, Sigra and Chetganj areas of Varanasi.

This action to seize property is going on under the leadership of Area Officer Randhir Mishra. Area Officer Mishra said that on the orders of Court Sonbhadra, the property of Tulsipur Mahmoorganj under Bhelupur of Varanasi has been seized today under Section 107 of BNS under NDPS Act. After some time, other properties located in Chetganj and Sigra police station areas will also be confiscated.

Sonbhadra police had arrested Bhola Jaiswal, father of gangster Shubham Jaiswal, from Kolkata. Together, both of them had spread the network of banned cough syrup to Uttar Pradesh, Bengal and Bangladesh. Shubham Jaiswal and his father Bhola Prasad Jaiswal did black business worth crores of rupees through banned cough syrup through Shaili Traders firm and other firms. With this illegal money, father and son together created property worth crores. Shubham Jaiswal is still out of police custody.
