Monsoon Alert – More than 20 districts in UP likely to experience storm and rain, know details

New Delhi: Clouds have been hovering over many parts of Uttar Pradesh since morning. Several areas have experienced cloudy skies and drizzle, leading to a drop in temperature. This drop in temperature has significantly increased the feeling of cold, as if a cold wave has returned.

In the Delhi-NCR region, including Ghaziabad, Noida, and Meerut, many districts have been cloudy since morning, with a high risk of rain. Muradabad, Sambhal, Rampur, and Amroha districts have also been experiencing dense cloud cover since morning, with drizzle reported in some areas.

The drizzle has caused temperatures to drop, and people are feeling the chill. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a rain warning for several parts of Uttar Pradesh. People have been advised to take precautions.

Heavy Rain Warning in Several Districts

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, a rain warning has been issued for several districts of UP within the next few hours. According to the IMD, an orange alert has been issued for rain in Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, Muradabad, Bulandshahr, Mathura, and Hathras. Winds are also expected to blow at a speed of 5 kilometers per hour in these areas.

Winds are also expected in Aligarh, Agra, Sambhal, Rampur, Badaun, and Bareilly. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain along with winds blowing at a speed of 30 to 50 kilometers per hour in Firozabad and Hathras.

Rain is also likely in Meerut, Hapur, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Lakhimpur Kheri, and Shravasti. According to the Meteorological Department, rain is possible in Bahraich, Balrampur, and Gonda. Besides these, drizzle may also be seen in Barabanki, Kanpur, Kannauj, Etawah, and Sitapur. Thunderstorms and rain may continue.

Temperatures may rise again after a few days. According to the IMD (India Meteorological Department), 20 districts in western Uttar Pradesh are likely to experience cloudy skies and rainfall.
