Desk. Famous Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu is once again going to make a comeback on the big screen. His new film ‘Assi’ has been officially announced, which is coming after his previous projects ‘Phir Aayi Haseen Dilruba’ and ‘Khel Khel Mein’. The film marks Taapsee’s first appearance in nearly two years, and its first glimpse has caught the attention of the audience. Taapsee has always shown depth and strength in her characters, and here too she will be seen playing a character who raises her voice for justice.

Taapsee wrote in the caption shared with the motion poster, ‘It’s been a long time. Since we have normalized it. See you in court. I mean in the theatre. This line indicates that ‘Assi’ is going to be a courtroom drama, in which Taapsee can be seen in the role of a lawyer. Her role will be to fight a legal battle to get justice for a girl child.

Direction and Star Cast

The film is directed by Anubhav Sinha, and stars Taapsee along with a stellar cast including Kani Kusruti, Revathi, Manoj Pahwa, Kumud Mishra, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Naseeruddin Shah, Supriya Pathak and Seema Pahwa. The presence of all these actors adds to the depth and strength of the film.
