London: Chief Minister Hemant Soren attended the official welcome ceremony hosted by Shri Vikram Doraiswami, High Commissioner of India at the High Commission of India in the United Kingdom. On this occasion, the Chief Minister interacted with representatives of various countries, policy-makers and experts.
The main focus of the discussion during the program was to underline the contribution of Jharkhand in the overall development of India. Chief Minister Shri Soren highlighted in detail the economic progress, industrial possibilities, natural resources and human resource capabilities of Jharkhand. He said that Jharkhand is playing an important role in the development of the country through its mineral wealth, youth power and cultural heritage.

During the dialogue, special discussions were also held on opportunities for heritage conservation and cultural partnership with the United Kingdom. Also, positive discussions were held regarding the possibilities of possible cooperation in the field of higher education, skill development, sports and important minerals. The Chief Minister said that with international cooperation in these areas, the youth of Jharkhand can get global opportunities.
The dialogue was in line with the broader framework of the UK–India Strategic Partnership and the existing bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
