PM Modi predicted that BJP government will be formed in Kerala also, gave tension to everyone by telling Ahmedabad connection
PM Modi Kerala Rally: Today in Thiruvananthapuram, the capital of Kerala, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tried to draw the outline of the future on the basis of his victory in the municipal elections. PM Modi saluted the people for the victory in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) rally in Thiruvananthapuram. He said that the formation of BJP government has started from Thiruvananthapuram. This city will become an ideal city. Referring to the victory in Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation in 1987, he said that since then the people of Gujarat have been giving a chance to BJP. Regarding the news of gold theft in Sabarimala temple, he said that if BJP government comes to power, it will be investigated and the culprits will be sent to jail.
Addressing a rally in Thiruvananthapuram, Modi reminded that the BJP’s arrival in Gujarat began with its victory in a city nearly four decades ago. Same thing will happen in Kerala also. The PM said that before 1987, BJP was a marginalized party in Gujarat and it hardly got any media coverage. The PM claimed that for decades the LDF and UDF had neglected Thiruvananthapuram, leaving the city deprived of basic amenities.
Support in making Thiruvananthapuram one of the best cities in the country
Taking on the Left and Congress, the PM said, the Left and Congress have continuously failed to meet the needs of our people. By the way, our BJP team has started work towards the development of Thiruvananthapuram. I want to tell the people of the city to have faith! The long awaited change is finally about to come. Thiruvananthapuram will become a model city for the entire country. I fully support making Thiruvananthapuram one of the best cities of India.
What is the connection with 1987?
Referring to Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, Prime Minister Modi said, in 1987, BJP had won Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation for the first time. Just like the party won in Thiruvananthapuram recently. Since then the people of Gujarat have given us the opportunity to serve. We have been doing this for decades. Our journey started from a city in Gujarat and similarly in Kerala too we started from a city. I believe this shows that the people of Kerala have started trusting the BJP. They are connecting with us in the same way as the people of Gujarat were once connected.

BJP government in Gujarat since 1998
The PM said his party’s victory in the Thiruvananthapuram municipal corporation is a victory of its determination to free Kerala from the corrupt rule of the Left Democratic Front (LDF) and the United Democratic Front (UDF). BJP won in Thiruvananthapuram in the recently held municipal elections. For the first time she was successful in getting elected as mayor. In Gujarat, for the first time in 1987, BJP had won the Municipal Corporation of Ahmedabad. For the first time in 1995, BJP government was formed in Gujarat. The government fell within a year and then Shankar Singh Vaghela’s Rashtriya Janata Party government was formed. Ever since the BJP government was formed in 1998, there is a BJP government in Gujarat till now. He has not been defeated in even a single election.

What guarantee did PM give on Sabarimala?
PM Narendra Modi said on the issue of Sabarimala, people of the entire country have immense faith in Lord Ayyappa, but the LDF government has left no stone unturned in damaging the traditions of the Sabarimala temple. Now there are reports of gold theft here. There are reports of theft of gold from the God in the temple. I want to say that as soon as the BJP government is formed here, there will be a thorough investigation into the allegations. The place of the culprits will be in jail. This is Modi’s guarantee.
