Four henchmen of Lawrence Vishnoi gang arrested, police action after encounter of Parmanand Yadav in Patna.

Patna: Notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang has completely spread its foot in Bihar. Taking major action, Patna Police has arrested four members associated with the gang. In the encounter, one accused was shot in the leg, while three were caught from the spot. Weapons, cartridges, cash and Nepali currency have been recovered. According to the police, notorious criminal Parmanand Yadav alias Nepali along with his associates was planning to carry out some major criminal incident around New Bypass of Beur police station area. Considering the seriousness of the information, a special raid team was formed on the instructions of senior police officers.

During the raid, the accused started running away after seeing the police. In the prompt action of the police, three miscreants were arrested from the spot, while the main accused Parmanand Yadav alias Nepali managed to escape. The police immediately alerted the Masauri police station after seeing his possible escape route. During the siege in the Masauri police station area, there was an encounter between the police and Parmanand Yadav, in which the accused was shot in the leg. At present he is undergoing treatment in police custody.

Weapons and Nepalese currency recovered

One country-made revolver, six live cartridges, Rs 40,000 in cash and Rs 5,110 Nepali currency have been recovered from the three accused arrested by Beur police station. Police are also investigating whether the presence of Nepali currency and passport is related to the network. Police officials say that in the initial investigation it has become clear that the accused are associated with Lawrence Vishnoi gang and were trying to strengthen their hold in Patna and surrounding areas. At present, the interrogation of the arrested accused is going on. The police is trying to know with whom they had contacts and how spread is the gang’s network in Bihar. Officials say more arrests may be made in the coming days.
