IND vs AUS Test Squad: Indian team announced for the test against Australia, new faces get place
IND vs AUS Test Squad : The BCCI Women’s Selection Committee has announced India’s team for the Test match against Australia Women’s team in Perth after the white-ball series. This test match will be played at WACA from March 6 to 9, 2026. New faces have got a place in the squad led by Harmanpreet Kaur.

India has announced a 15-man squad for the Perth Test against Australia Women, with five players included in the Test squad for the first time. Pratika Rawal, Amanjot Kaur, Kranti Gaur, Vaishnavi Sharma and Sayli Satghare are the five players who have been included in India’s Test team for the first time. Raval is returning to the Indian team having last featured in their victorious 2025 World Cup campaign, but her participation was cut short due to a hairline fracture in her right ankle.
Shafali Verma, who replaced Raval in the World Cup semi-finals and final, will retain her place in the Test team. She had opened with vice-captain Smriti Mandhana in India’s last five Test matches and also scored a career-best 205 runs against South Africa in her last Test match. Middle order batsman Harleen Deol is also making a comeback to the Test team, having last made a place in the Test squad in 2023 against England and Australia.
Vaishnavi is another new player in the spin option along with all-rounders Deepti Sharma and Sneh Rana. Renuka Thakur, Kranti Gaur and all-rounder Amanjot are the seam options in the team. At the same time, Saika Ishaq, Rajeshwari Gaikwad, Pooja Vastrakar, Arundhati Reddy, Meghna Singh and Priya Punia, who were all part of the Test team against South Africa, are the players who have not got a place in the team.
