Buying one Mercedes Benz is a dream of many people, but imagine taking delivery of two together, that too finished in an exclusive colorway. Well, recently, the owner of Punjab Sind Dairy from Mumbai has taken delivery of his brand-new Mercedes Benz G580, and along with it, he also took delivery of the CLE Cabriolet as well. What makes these cars more special is that both are finished in an exclusive shade of yellow. All of the other cars in Bajaj’s collection are also yellow.
The video showing this mega delivery of the Mercedes Benz G580 and CLE Cabriolet has been shared on Instagram by Autohangar on their page. It starts off with the owner of Punjab Sind Dairy, Swaranjit Singh Bajaj, his family members, and friends entering the Mercedes Benz dealership in a convoy. The convoy consisted of Bajaj’s older-generation Mercedes Benz G63, Sudhu Moosewala’s Toyota Land Cruiser LC200, a Mahindra Thar ROXX in yellow, and many others.
Soon after this, the friends and family members were greeted, and they took their seats at the table set up by the Mercedes Benz dealership. Following this, a few speeches were given by Mercedes Benz dealership staff, the owner of Punjab Sind Dairy, and other family members. The video then shows the family removing the first cover off the G580. However, after the reveal, it can be seen that the vehicle was covered in a white cover.
This particular cover is the one in which the vehicle is transported from Germany to India to protect the exclusive paint. The video then shows all the family members removing the white cover from the SUV and revealing the super-exclusive and bright shade of Manufaktur Sun Yellow. After this, the family are seen checking out their uniquely specced electric G-Wagen. They then give a few speeches and take the official key delivery of their new SUV.
As mentioned above and seen in the video, apart from the G580, the Bajaj family, on the same day and at the same spot, took delivery of the Mercedes Benz CLE Cabriolet luxury convertible sports car as well. Like the G580, this particular car has also been optioned in the same Manufaktur Sun Yellow shade. As for the interior, it is finished in tan and black leather, which looks very classy.
Finally, after taking delivery of this convertible sports car, the entire family and friends pray in front of the two new cars for blessings from God. After which, they click pictures with the new cars and also have a meal organized by the Mercedes Benz Autohangar dealership.
The Mercedes Benz G580, for those who may not be aware, is the electric version of the G-Wagen. Also, it happens to be the third G-Wagen in the Punjab Sind Dairy owner’s collection. He also owns a current G63 AMG and an older-generation G63 AMG. As for the G580, it comes equipped with four electric motors, one for each wheel. In total, it makes 587 PS and 1,164 Nm of peak torque.
As for the battery pack, the G580 EQ comes equipped with a 116 kWh battery pack, offering a range of 473 km. It supports fast charging and can be charged in just 32 minutes. As for the 0–100 kmph time, it happens in just under 5 seconds, and the top speed has been limited to 180 kmph. The Mercedes Benz G580 is priced at 3.10 crore.
