Nicole Kidman’s close friends want her to start dating younger, low-profile men after her painful divorce from Keith Urban.
The Babygirl actress found it very tough to adjust after ending her 19-year marriage to Keith last year.
A source close to Nicole revealed to Reality Tea that she felt “broken” and that was “real grief” for her.
“Nicole built her entire adult life around the belief that her marriage was permanent but when it suddenly unraveled, it wasn’t just the relationship that fell apart – it forced her to question who she was without it and to rethink every assumption she’d made about her future,” explained a confidante.
Now, the Practical Magic actress’ friends encourage her to “focus” on one simple thing and that’s to find joy without pressure.
“Among women in her orbit, there’s an unspoken understanding that dating younger, low-profile men offers freedom without complication,” pointed out an insider.
The source further said that Nicole’s friends “have been nudging her toward that idea, telling her she’s earned the right to excitement that doesn’t come with emotional demands”.
It is believed that the Big Little Lies actress’ pals are vouching for Zac Efron, who appeared opposite Nicole in A Family Affair and The Paperboy.
“There was an ease between them that didn’t feel forced or manufactured,” stated an insider.
Meanwhile, the source noted that Nicole has “no appetite for a highly visible romance at this stage”.
“What she wants is to feel attractive and alive again, without scrutiny, and Zac’s long experience of fame means she trusts him to handle any personal connection with discretion,” added an insider.
