Aksai China, PoK, along with the map of India, America! Why Trump’s change in 4 days?
Before the trade agreement is signed, the change of America! Aksai Chin, White House released map showing Pakistan Occupied Kashmir as part of India. However, the Trump administration deleted that map from social media within 4 days. The incident naturally sparked speculation before the India-US trade deal was signed.
After the joint statement on the trade agreement, the US Donald Trump administration released a map marking the entire Indian territory on February 7. The map published by the Office of the Trade Representative shows the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir as part of India. The illegally occupied part of Pakistan or Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK) was also there. It is known that after the trade agreement between the two countries, the map was published to show that some duty-free and low-duty products will enter India from America. However, the Trump administration has not given any explanation as to why the map was deleted in just 4 days.
The release of the full map of India by the US was seen as a major diplomatic success for Delhi. It was being claimed that Pakistan is trying to increase its friendship with America, but actually the White House does not care about Shahbaz-Munir.
It should be noted that every time the map of India has been published by the US, Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and Aksai Chin have been shown outside of India. In return, India said that India is a sovereign state. The legitimacy of its territorial sovereignty does not depend on US consent. Pakistan Occupied Kashmir is a part of this country. The release of a complete map of India was then seen as a major diplomatic success for Delhi. Informed sources claimed that although Pakistan is trying to increase friendship with America, the White House does not pay special attention to Shahbaz-Munir. But the demand of informed circles to delete that map from social media again, America has returned to its old position in international diplomacy.
