Budget in line with people’s aspirations, public welfare and employment generation: Chief Minister Yogi

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday described the Uttar Pradesh budget as a budget that is in line with the public welfare, employment generation, investment expansion and respect for women. He said that now the image of Uttar Pradesh is changing from sick state to developed Uttar Pradesh. Uttar Pradesh is moving ahead in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s goal of developed India.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was discussing the budget with the media in Tilak Hall of the Assembly today. He said that perception has changed in the last nine years and this budget has increased three times. This budget writes the story of safe women, capable youth, prosperous forts, and innovation by putting every hand to work and technology. In this, a provision of about Rs 43 thousand crore has been made for new schemes and more than two lakh crore for infrastructure, employment and skill development. Chief Minister Yogi said that the budget presented today is the 10th budget of our government and this is the first time in a state like UP that a government has presented the 10th consecutive budget. The most important thing is that during this period we did not increase any tax in nine years.

Describing the budget of Uttar Pradesh as being in line with the aspirations of the people, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that before the year 2017, the economic, social and law and order situation of the state was so bad that it had to be known as Bimaru State, but we have changed the image of the state. New heights have been touched in every sector and due to efficient financial management, today Uttar Pradesh is one of the top three economies of the country. Before the year 2017, the unemployment rate was 17 to 19 percent but our government has brought it down to below two percent. This budget is dedicated to the youth, in which employment generation and MSMEs are being promoted. The state is now rapidly emerging as an employment generation centre.

Establishing a data denter

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that different data was presented by different departments, but our government has worked towards preparing real data by creating a State Data Authority. This real-time data is useful in making future plans. Along with the establishment of AI mission in the budget, incentives will be given through She Mart to make women self-reliant.

Will create city economic zone

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that in the budget, it has been announced to create City Economic Zone for the all-round development of the state. Will be built in all major cities including Kashi, Mirzapur, Kanpur, Jhansi, Chitrakoot. Giving information about the efforts being made by the government to increase investment, the Chief Minister said that Single Window System has been implemented and Digital Entrepreneurship Scheme has also been mentioned in this budget; Law and order has become a guarantee of development in the state.

Food providers are the pivot of the country’s development

While discussing the state budget, the Chief Minister made special mention of farmers and food providers. He said that food providers are the pivot of development of the country and the state. Annadata should not be seen only as beneficiaries but they should participate in development and the state government is making them partners. The price of sugarcane has been increased and payment is being made on time. Many schemes are being implemented to make farming income based and multi-cropping. A lot of work has been done for irrigation. The scope of irrigation has increased and farmers will be given subsidy under PM Kusum Yojana. Not only this, Agri Export Hub will be created in Noida to export the products of farmers. Work is being done rapidly in the direction of storing grains and seeds. Similarly, many schemes are run in the interest of fishermen.

Chief Minister Yogi said that in the budget, efforts are being made to provide good education to children in council schools, establishment of more Kasturba Girls Schools to promote girls’ education, technical training for skill development of youth and establishment of women’s hostels. There is facility of Ayushman card along with free medicines in PHC, CHAC and district hospitals. The needy are given help in illness from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. Chief Minister Yogi congratulated the people of the state for the public welfare budget. He also thanked his cabinet members and officers by wishing them well for the collective efforts being made in the development of the state.
