He hit 3 consecutive sixes on the last ball before getting out. Rahmatullah Gurbaz was dismissed by Keshav Maharaj on the last ball and thus the result of the match was in the name of Africa. Africa needed 5 runs to win on the last ball, but Gurbaz was caught.
What happened in the first super over?
In the first super over, Afghanistan scored 17 runs without losing any wicket. Azmatullah Omarzai batted aggressively and hit two fours and a six. In reply, South Africa needed a six on the last ball and Tristan Stubbs hit a brilliant six under pressure to take the match into the second super over.

What happened in the second super over?
In the second Super Over, South Africa, batting first, scored 23 runs, in which David Miller played a quick inning of 16 runs. After this, while chasing the target of 24 runs, Gurbaz tried again and hit three sixes, but this time Afghanistan could only make 19/2 and South Africa won this high-voltage match. Earlier, batting first after the toss, South Africa got a great start by Quinton de Kock (59) and Ryan Rickelton (61). There was a strong partnership of 114 runs between the two for the second wicket, which laid the foundation for the team to score a big score.
