Trump deployed huge fleet in Iran, told Tehran to make a deal otherwise face the consequences

Washington. US President Donald Trump claimed that America has deployed a ‘huge naval fleet’ towards Iran. He also indicated that Iran wants to negotiate, but America’s conditions will be clear and strict. In an interview with Fox Business’s Larry Kadlow, Trump said, referring to increased US military activity in the region, ‘As you know, a huge fleet is heading towards Iran at this time. Let’s see what happens.

Trump said he thinks Iran wants to make a deal. “I think they want to make a deal,” he said. It would be foolish of them if they did not do so. However, Trump made it clear that it would be necessary to include America’s core concerns in any agreement.

President Trump said, ‘The deal should be good. No nuclear weapons, no missiles, and all the other issues you want to eliminate.’ He also raised the question whether the current Iranian regime can be trusted. Trump criticized the Iran policy of former Presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden.

He said, ‘Obama and Biden have created a monster in the matter of Iran.
That nuclear deal was one of the stupidest agreements I have seen.
He also mentioned earlier US action on Iranian nuclear sites and said, ‘Last time we destroyed their nuclear capability, this time whether we will have to do more or not, it remains to be seen.’ Trump described the military deployment and diplomacy as part of a broader strategy that includes both economic pressure and national security. He claimed, ‘I resolved eight wars, at least six of which were resolved through tariffs.’

This statement has come at a time when there is tension regarding Iran’s nuclear program and regional activities. Iran’s role in West Asia directly affects energy markets, sea routes and geopolitical equations. India, which has historical and economic ties with Iran, keeps an eye on every activity in the Gulf region. Energy dependence, connectivity projects, and maritime security are of strategic importance to India.
