The fraudsters took this money by giving a fake land deed to the couple, but neither gave them the land nor returned the money. Later, after realizing that they had been cheated, the victim couple lodged a complaint with the police. After this the police arrested two accused.

According to the police, Sunil Kumar Jain, resident of Lajpat Nagar, Delhi has given the complaint. It has been told that some people had shown 0.9680 hectares of land in Mohabalipur area of ​​Jewar. It was told that this land is in the name of Ratan Singh of the village. After the construction of Noida International Airport, the prices of this land are going to touch the sky. The accused promised them that they would get profits worth crores of rupees in future if they invested. Due to this greed, he had made a deal with the accused.

The fraudsters showed him the documents related to the land on January 17. After this, they were taken into confidence by showing the land documents on the government portal also. Then after the land deal was done, he transferred Rs 88 lakh to his account through banking. Later he came to know that the land and its documents were fake, then he realized the fraud. After this he lodged a complaint against the accused in Jewar police station.

Case registered on 9 February

Jewar police station in-charge said that on the complaint of the plaintiff, the police registered a case against two named and 6 unidentified people. Investigation found that Ratan Singh, resident of Mahobali village of Jewar area, along with his other friend Sonu, had committed this crime. Along with these accused, names of some other people have also emerged in the investigation. Police is searching for them. There are already fraud cases registered against Sonu in Jewar police station.

Registry department employees also on radar

After cases of land fraud continuously coming to light, now the police is also investigating the employees of the registry department. Police officials say that while buying and selling the land, the employees were negligent in investigating the land. The police is trying to find out with the connivance of whose people this deed was done in the registry office.
