The horrific incident took place at a school in Hat Yai district of Sankhla province in southern Thailand. Thailand police said an 18-year-old man attacked a local school on Wednesday morning. He entered the school and started shooting. At least 3 people including the headmaster of the school were shot in this incident. Initially, several students and teachers were arrested by the accused.
The police quickly reached the spot after receiving the information. Initially, the school authorities tried to negotiate with the gunman. However, after the entire school was cordoned off, the students bravely started coming out of various classrooms. Later the police arrested the gunman.
An assailant opened fire at a school in Canada’s Tumbler Ridge area during classes on Wednesday morning. At least 10 people died in this incident. Besides, 25 others were injured. The assailant died in the retaliatory attack by the police. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief over this incident.
